“I only earnestly wish that the wind will soon puff away all of the clouds which are hanging over the tops of the mountains." ~ Shinto Prayer
“Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech.” ~ Baha’i Prayer
“Oh Lord God Almighty, may there be Peace in Celestial regions. May there be Peace on Earth.” ~ Hindu Prayer
These prayer portions say to me:
Push away from you all those clouds of doubt keeping you in the dark and preventing the light from shining on you. Be fair in your dealings with others and try not to speak to harshly to or about them. Create on this earth an environment welcoming to the Love of God, the Angels and all other Celestial Beings.
I read these words and I think, “Isn't it amazing how clearly Spirit provides the message we need to hear, if we just allow ourselves to be open enough to receive it." During this time of year people seem to be nicer to each other – maybe it’s got something to do with the timing of the year; maybe it’s got something to do with the “holiday season;” or maybe it has to do with their belief systems. Somehow, though, I think it has to do with, at least on some level, people’s willingness to hear God’s voice, to hear Spirit’s message, to be a little less concerned with themselves and a little more concerned with others.
Whatever the underlying reason for doing that, I believe the end result really is the creation of an environment here on Earth that carries the energy of Love more prevalently than at any other time of year. I also like to believe that more and more people across the face of the planet are striving to maintain that energy throughout the entire year. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically join my brothers and sisters in holding, maintaining and sharing this Love today, this season, and every day of the year. Won’t you join us, too?
